South Australia: Pathways to skills, jobs and growth

10/8/2026 9:30:00 AM
National Wine Centre, Adelaide

Join South Australia’s leading policymakers, educators and industry leaders for a timely discussion on the future of skills, training and workforce pathways in the state.

This event will explore how South Australia is reshaping its education and training ecosystem to meet growing demand across priority sectors including defence, construction, health, clean energy, ICT and early childhood education. From technical colleges and school-to-VET integration to apprenticeships, work-integrated learning and industry co-design, the program will examine how government, education providers and employers can work together to build a stronger, safer and more responsive skills pipeline.

Across a keynote address and two panel discussions we will explore:

  • Skills for the future: aligning training, industry and economic growth

  • Policy, funding, and school-to-skills pathways

  • Safe pathways and work-ready practices
